The process that the drop impacts on the solid wall was inrestigated by numerical simulation and experimental observation. The whole process was divided into five stages where the pressure distribution and velocity distribution of the drop were studied. The numerical results, which show good agreement with the experimental results, indicate that the radius of the drop, viscosity, and impact velocity, as well as the contact angle, could affect the max radius of the spread and the max rebound height.
