英文摘要：

Based on the analysis and comparison of hydrostatic hybrid vehicles （HHV） and hybrid electric vehicles （ HEV）, the principle, the structural features and applications of HHV are presented. The influences of its key components selection on the fuel economy and overall performance of vehicle are discussed. The factors influen- cing the efficiency of HHV are the major research works need analyzed and the current research situation of its control strategy is reviewed. Finally to proceed on HHV at present are pointed out.
