Spatial agglomeration and division of service industries have become an significant driving force for metro-politan area’s spatial reorganization and functional upgrade.Spatial Gini coefficient,regional specialization index and locational entropy were used to analysis the characteristics and changes for regional division of service industries in Xuzhou Metropolitan Area from 2005 to 2012 in depth.The results indicated that the development level of service industries in the area presented a circle distribution pattern declining from the center of Xuzhou to peripheral area, there were also differences in spatial distribution and agglomeration degree of service industries of different types. Meanwhile,the regional specialization degree of service industries in Xuzhou Metropolitan Area was not high and exhibited a tendency of weakening,and the development of service industries with professional advantages in differ-ent cities existed differences.In addition,regional division of different kinds of service industries were deepened con-stantly,industries with high degree of regional division transferred from producer service-led industries to social services industries.
