Dip angle of coal bed is a key factor that affects the depth of broken floor. To study in - depth the influence of coal bed dip angle on depth of broken floor, a calculation model with higher accuracy is established. By numerical simulation and taking linear fitting mathematical method, the functional relationship between dip angle of coal bed and broken depth is concluded. Based on fracture mechanics and applying similar function theory, Im - FM calculation model to calculate the broken depth is established and it＇s accuracy is examined by sampled data.
