The cultivation and development of emerging strategic industries has opened ＇the window of opportuni- ty＇ for the traditional industries. The traditional enterprises only actively comply with the national industrial policy and butt joint the emerging strategic industries effectively, will it be possible to get the new growth elements and the realization of sustainable development. This paper analyzes the decision-making influencing factors about tradi- tional enterprises docking to the emerging strategic industries, also puts forward ＇two patterns and four paths＇. The two docking patterns are ＇high-road＇ and ＇low-road＇, ~the four specific matching paths are ＇transformation butt-joint＇, ＇upgrading butt-joint＇, ＇relation butt-joint＇ and ＇radiation butt-joint＇. The paper has established the decision-making model about traditionalenterprises docking to the emerging strategic industries. Take 10 traditional enterprises in A region for an example, verified the effectiveness and feasibility of the decision model.
