The weaknesses of the analytic hierarchy process（AHP） and principal component analysis（PCA） and other existing investment environment evaluation methods applied to investment environment of regional strategic emerging industries are analyzed. Based on the specificity of the environment, the corresponding indicator system is built and the comprehensive evaluation model of the regional strategic emerging industry on the basis of AHP and PCA is put forward. This specific application in R, P, H cities is discussed as an example.
