With the improvement of people＇s life and fast developed urbanization process in our country, the traffic Congestion has become a severe problem which needs an urgent solution. As an effective measure of traffic demand management, Congestion Pricing is capable of improving urban traffic congestion, which has been successfully adopted by many intemational cities and achieved good effects. This paper firstly introduces the current status of traffic congestion and the relative theory of congestion pricing, and then analyses the feasibility of Congestion Pricing in Shanghai city through learning Singapore and London, which successful implemented traffic Congestion Pricing. And finally, according to Shanghai＇ s geographical location, economic development, population, road area and the current traffic conditions, an implementary analysis of Congestion Pricing in Shanghai is presented with some suggestions and recommendations.
