This paper introduces the notion of transitive expression （which is denoted as R~ ） for a reflexive intervalvalued fuzzy relation R on a domain U. studies the topological structures τ_R and τ_R~ induced by R~ and R respectively. The results shows that τ_R =τ_R~, since they have a common subbase.
