Astragaloside PC in Radix Astragali and Ginsenoside in Radixet Rhizoma Notoginseng were analyzed by TLC with the silica gel plate in chloroform-methanol-water （30 ： 8 ： 1） after twice development. The TLC spots were highly specific,clear and concentrated,without interference by the presence of other chemical components.
