Gu Su Zi Lüe mainly studies the acknowledgement of variants of Chinese character,and demonstrate the relationship among＂Gu＂,＂Su＂and＂Tong＂. Although the book of Gu Su Zi Lüe has some redeeming features, but it has problems some. Starting from the existing problems, this paper is to give an objective evaluation of the second edition of Grand Chinese Dictionary citing Gu Su Zi Lüe by enumerating examples.
