With the advent of the ＂lnternet ＋＂ era, Internet information technology as the representative of the new media becomes a major point cut of innovation in Party building in universities~ New media technology gains great popularity among college students for its incomparable superiority and provides a platform to get access to information, communication and creation. The paper proposes that we should make full use of the openness, pluralism and interaction of new media and transform these features into the work edge in Party building work. Besides, it also explores the necessity, the principles and the methods to strengthen the information platform construction for Party building among college students in new media era.
