为解释优秀村干部的绰号现象,文章采用以案例分析为主的质性研究方法对2013-2014年CCTV评定的两届“最美村官”的公开媒体资料进行分析。结论表明：（1）优秀村干部普遍拥有绰号,且绰号多由村民或社会其他群体根据村干部脾气个性、品行德性、职业身份、学识技能等特质而拟定,具有鲜明的表现力;（2）优秀村干部绰号以褒义为主,反映了村民及其他社会群体对村干部的角色期盼和道德诉求,而且绰号赞誉程度并未因为村干部年纪轻而有所下降,且女性村干部绰号措辞及内涵的情感色彩浓于男性;（3）绰号作为一种乡村熟人社会的文化存在,优秀村干部绰号具有身份建构、角色期望、组织激励、道德约束、融洽关系、文化传承与创新等多种社会功能。

英文摘要：

To explain nicknames of the outstanding village cadres （OVCs）, this paper, using case analysis method, studies the opening media data on ＂The Most Beautiful Village Cadres＂ that has selected by CCTV during 2013--2014. And it finds that. （1） every OVC has more than one nickname, and his nick- names that always are the most expressive are given by the village residents and other social groups accord- ing to his temper and character, morality, career identity, knowledge and skill; （2） the most of OVCs＇ nicknames are commendatory, which displays the village residents＇ role expectation and moral appeals for their village cadres. The female OVCs＇ nicknames are more feeling than male. And the praise meaning of nicknames does not vary among different ages. （3） OVCs＇ Nickname is a kind of culture of the rural ac- quaintance society and has many functions, such as identity construction, motivation, moral constraint, harmonizing relationship, inheritance and innovation of rural culture, etc.
