In order to regulate the identification of Dendrobium officinale germplasm resources and relative products, preliminary screening of the barcoding genes was conducted by amplification, sequencing,sequence alignment and cluster analysis of D. officinale chloroplast-related genes （rbcL, trnH-psbA, rb116）. The result showed that the dendrobium seedlings easy to be confused in the market could effectively be distinguished by the rbcL gene, but further research should be made before the rbcL ene could be used as a barcoding gene of Dendrobium.
