From 2005 to 2008,longitudinal surveys on Oncomelania hupensis and morbidity of schistosomiasis were carried out in Zhuxi Village of Xingzi County.The results showed that the density of living snails and the rate of infection in humans fluctuated.The infection rate of cattle declined.It is suggested that the comprehensive measures of schistosomiasis control and surveillance on snails and cattle should be strengthened.
