在英汉新闻中,标题都占据着重要地位。新闻标题的翻译应该做到功能对等,才能达到理想的表达效果;然而,英汉语在制作新闻标题方面存在着较大差别,了解其差异,是进行准确翻译的前提。本文拟对英汉新闻标题进行对比,并在此基础上,提出功能对等视角下的英汉新闻标题翻译应采用的教学方法。

Both in English and Chinese news, headlines are of great importance. To achieve the desired effect of expression,translations of them should achieve functional equivalence. However, due to the big differences between English and Chinese news headlines, understanding the differences is a prerequisite for accurate translation. This paper intends to compare the English and Chinese news headlines, and on this basis, proposes some useful teaching methods in doing the translation from the perspective of functional equivalence.
