The development level of high performance computer is influenced by searching the complex physical world and the demands of application computation of human society itself. It is also affected by the environment of programmer and optional technology. In this paper, the developments of high performance compute architecture from the 1960s were reviewed firstly, and then the recent developments about high-performance calculation technique including the popular architecture technology and the development of high performance computer of various countries were introduced. Finally, according to the recent developments condition, developmental tendency of high performance compute architecture in the future was forecasted.
