Autophagy is an intracellular degradation system that delivers cytoplasmic constituents to the lysosome and it＇s involved Jn the cycle of matter and energy, Meanwhile autnphagic cell death is a form of cell death called type-Ⅱ programmed cell death. In recent years, studies have shown that autophagy is involved in pathophysiologies of nervous system disease especially neurodegenerative diseases, ischemia-hypoxia, traumatic brain injury, seizures.
