Through the movement of protecting intangible heritage, folk dance is paid attention by more and more people from different places in different times. This paper focuses on the research of Chaoshan Yingge in Guangdong Province, and argues that folk dance has multiple aspects of values such as artistic values and cultural values. The paper explains that folk dance has different forms to different people during the protecting and developing process. It is significant to pay close attention to the element of human when protecting folk art. It is worth making efforts to improve primary education to enhance the subjective consciousness of intangible heritage.
