To find highly efficient photocatalysis materials, complex iron ( Ⅱ ) 1,4-dithiin-diphenyl porphyrazine (FePzPh(dtn)4) and its sulfonation derivatives (FePzSPh(dtn)4) were synthesized from 2,3-dithiolate-1,4-dithiin and 1,3-diiminoisoindoline by solid-state method using ammonium molybdate as a catalyst in the presence of ferrous sulfate heptahydrate. Their structures were characterized by UV-vis, FT-IR,^1H-NMR and X-ray photoemission spectra and their solubility properties were investigated roughly.
