Located at the center of Shandong Province, shaping a golden triangle with Mt. l alsnan ana Mt. Culai, Mt. Lotus has a profound and wide - spread religious culture, with ＂Buddhism＂, ＂Confucianism＂ and ＂Taoism＂ co-existing. Whereas, the goddess Guanyin in Buddhism plays a major role in its religious culture which helps Mt. Lotus to develop religion culture tourism based on the theme of ＂Holy land of Guany-in, Mt. Putuo in the north＂ to create a Buddhism scenic spot and a leisure resort. This paper analyses the ad-vantages and disadvantages in Mt. Lotus＇tourism development to make contributions to the improvement of its religious culture tourism.
