Analyze the supply pattern change of China coal resource from 1949--2008 and find that： Firstly, national policy has profound impact on the development of China coal resource industry, each policy change bring great energy consumption fluctuation, and although holding well resource basic, strong energy demand makes China have to accept the fact of coal inport; Secondly, under the pressures of energy demand and resource gift, China coal production central ration increases constantly in recent years, as a result large-scale and long-distance coal transportation become an important phenomenon of China energy transportation. Thirdly, although all traffic tools such as railway, water transportation and road transportation participated in coal conveyance, increasing energy demand can＇ t be supply effective/y, so change coal transportation to electricity transmission maybe a better way.
