现有的微显示器系统大多采用RGB、VGA、DVI或HDMI等有线接口来接收图像信息,最近,一些无需硬件连接的微显示系统采用无线数据传输技术来接收图像或视频,但是,这些微显示系统在无线传输时,功耗较大。对于高分辨率的OLED微显示系统,提出了一种低功耗无线传输方案。在显示系统中嵌入帧缓冲存储器来降低功耗,当图像数据没有更新时,把图像数据放在帧缓冲存储器中。同时,在微显示系统中集成了一个图像编码器来进一步降低数据传输时的功耗。利用无线通信协议Wi-Fi对图像数据进行传输。一种用于无线微显示的原型平台得到了发展和测试。
This paper proposes a low power consumption wireless communication scheme,for the high resolution OLED microdisplay system.A frame buffer is embedded in the display system,to reduce the power consumption.The image data are held in the frame buffer when the image contents are not updated frequently.A lossless image encoder is also integrated in the microdisplay system to further reduce the data transfer energy consumption.Wi-Fi is used as the wireless communication protocol for image data transmission.A prototype platform for the wireless microdisplay is developed and tested.
