The features of offshore oil engineering include high investment, high risk, and high technology content and so on. Offshore oil engineering is a complex system engineering. It is essential to improve service management levels for guaranteeing, building, towing and safety of installation, which is very helpful for enhancing efficiency and competitiveness. A series of theories and methods of offshore oil engineering service management are presented, and something that should be paid attention to in offshore oil engineering service management is also mentioned. These suggestions will be helpful to the project manager .
