This paper analyzes and sums up the theoretical basis and main contents of government supervision forentrusted public venues,and identifies problems in light of the current situation. The following proposals are then putforward：to clarify property ownership and management rights and conduct classified supervision;to take incentiveregulation measures to ensure public participation;to strengthen social regulation and establish compensation mecha-nisms;and to design supervision indexes scientifically as well as to establish an appraisal system for financial capitalexpenditure performance. The purpose of the paper is to provide valuable information for government supervision ofentrusted public venues.
