Objective： To isolate and purify secretory immunoglobulin A （SIgA） from duck bile. Method： Ammonium sulfate precipitation, different concentration of polyethylene glycol （PEG-6000） precipitation and further purification by Macro-Prep S were used to isolate duck SIgA. The Purification and antibody activity of purified SIgA were estimated by SDS-PAGE and ELISA methods, respectively. Result： The method was developed to isolate and purify high purity SIgA from duck bile. Conclusion： The highest output and purity of cluck SIgA were obtained by the PEG precipitation.
