Based on the analysis of historical data of Chengdu - Chongqing Economic Zone in this paper, it is coneluded that economic growth depends on energy consumption. It predicts GDP, energy consumption, emissions of CO2 and carbon sequestration of forests. Low - carbon economy is the sustainable development of the Chengdu - Chongqing Economic Zone. At last, it puts forward some policy recommendations.
