Urban ecosystem service plays a crucial role in improving the resilience capacity, health quality urban life and biodiversity conservation for cities. The quantitative assessment of urban ecosystem service would help understanding the mechanism and impact factors of ecosystem services, providing better ecosystem services and promote the sustainable development. The assessment of ecosystem services in Schalker Verein of Gelsenkirchen, Germany, for instance, the paper from landscape perspective uses Ecosystem Services Matrix （ES Matrix） to link with expert survey and Land use/Land cover （LULC） change together. Then, through Biotope Mapping Method of Germany, finds the provisioning, benefiting and connecting areas of urban ecosystem services by GIS mapping method, which could give significant references for the landscape planning and urban development.
