The paper analyzed the historical development of bamboo landscapes and relevant research progress based on the literature published within nearly 30 years. It outlined the achievements made in the development history,culture,construction and evaluation of bamboo landscape. The main problems in the study on bamboo landscape were then analyzed and the major trend of the future research was also prospected.
