Introduces a personal resource requirement description mechanism based on XML. The background of the subject is the architecture and service theory of education resource grid based on Internet. Users not only can express their resource requirements more accurate, but also can specify their expectations which the region of the resources. The result of the search can be optimized by the order of priority. With this mechanism, education resource grid can express software related personal resource requirements.
