为了选择较好的摄像机标定方法,采用Bouguet和张正友的标定方法分别进行了摄像机标定,以图像残差作为精度评估标准对两种方法的标定结果比较。实际实验表明:Bouguet方法的标定精度随着标定图片数量的变化而发生变化,在使用5张图片时,标定精度最高;在同等条件下与张正友方法进行比较,Bouguet方法标定精度更高。标定精度比较结果为实际应用中的摄像机标定方法选择、标定精度评价方法和具体标定试验中图像数量的选择等提供了重要的参考。
In order to choose a better camera calibration method,in this paper we calibrate a camera using Zhang's and Bouguet's method respectively,and compare the calibration results of the two methods by selecting image residuals as accuracy evaluation criterion. Experiments demonstrate that Bouguet's method of calibration accuracy changes with different number of calibration images,and shows the highest precision with five images. Under the same conditions,Bouguet's method outperformed Zhang's method. This paper provides an important practical method about the choice of camera calibration method,calibration accuracy evaluation method and the number of images in specific calibration test.
