由于大面积虚拟景观的三维模型数据过于庞大,从选择建模工具、降低模型的冗余度和复杂度、降低模型文件大小三个方面对建模过程中三维模型的优化方法进行了研究。给出了虚拟景观漫游系统的体系结构,从三维模型数据转换、漫游路径和视角设计、漫游系统集成等方面阐述漫游系统的实现过程,给出了数据压缩和转换算法。最后在Visual C++软件平台上实现了大数据量的虚拟校园漫游系统,该系统具有很好实时交互性和可扩展性。
As the data of 3D model in large-scale virtual landscape was too huge,the optimization methods of 3D model were researched from three aspects-selection of modeling tools,reduction in redundancy and complexity of model and compression of model file.Then,a framework of large-scale virtual landscape's navigation system was proposed,and the realization process of navigation system was expounded through the data conversion of 3D model,the design of navigation path and the integration of navigation system.At the same time,the data compression and conversion algorithm was put forward.Finally,a large-scale virtual campus navigation system was achieved in Visual C++ 6.0 software platform.The system has a very well real-time interactivity and scalability.
