Casual chat is one of the popular behaviors of human beings. It plays an important role in human evolution and development. However,up to now,casual chat has been considered a dangerous and immoral bechavior. Recently,more and more researches on casual chat indicated that casual chat has the positive social functions of information exchange,psychoanalysis,acculturation,friendship and social influence,even subsistence,which ensures that human being can live a better life and adopt to the environment. At the same time,the frequency and content of casual chat have been influenced by age,sex and stratum.
