Introduced the experimental device and principles of SHPB and its development history in testing the dynamic mechanical properties of concrete.Problems in SHPB experiments of concrete were analyzed containing uneven stress,the dispersion effect of large diameter pressure bar the end frictional effect,the inertial effect of specimen the impedance matching between Hopkinson bar and the specimen and the standardization of test data processing issues.Some methods to solve these problems were also introduced.These can serve as reference for the research of concrete SHPB experiment techniques.
