This thesis explores the problems with coal industry along Jinan-Qingdao railway during the period between 1904 and 1937, and the countermeasures that related parties have adopted. As the modern transportation, since Jinan-Qingdao railway was built in Shandong province, it has contributed to promoting the development of coal industry along Jinan-Qingdao railway, which is of historically significant.
