Skin irritant test was the routinely conducted for human healthy related product hazard assessment.Traditional skin irritancy testing used lab animals,costly,time-consuming and suffering from stress.Recent years,diverse alternative models for skin irritancy have been developed and applied.The effects in vivo were predicted in vitro testing by quantitative measured cell viability and biomarkers for metabolism disturbing.The biomarkers for skin irritancy included viability,inflammation cytokines,enzymes,morphology,etc.New specially biomarkers will be developed and validated under biotechnique improvement.
