基于疲劳试验研究了孔径对铆接连接件疲劳寿命的影响。分析试验件破坏形式发现,疲劳破坏存在多个疲劳源,最先发生疲劳裂纹的铆钉位置可通过比较裂纹长度和宽度判定。比较该铆钉孔孔径对应的试验件的疲劳寿命试验结果表明:在较高应力水平作用下,不同孔径对应的疲劳寿命差异较小;在较低的应力水平作用下,对于凸头铆钉铆接件,孔径在4.07~4.08 mm范围内的试验件疲劳寿命较优;对于沉头铆钉铆接件,孔径在4.07~4.10 mm范围内的试验件疲劳寿命较优。为此,建议将5/32 in的铆钉对应的孔径控制在4.07~4.10 mm范围内,通过控制孔径的方法可以达到提高铆接连接件疲劳寿命的目的。
Influence of hole diameter on fatigue life of riveting was studied by fatigue test.The fatigue failure mode of riveting shows that there are more than one crack origins,and the position where fatigue failure occure first is determined by comparing the length and width of crack of rivet.The different rivet hole diameter or specimen has no affect on the fatigue life of riveting when they are under higher loading,however,under lower loading,it has a better fatigue performance when diameter is between 4.07 mm and 4.08 mm for raised head riveting and between 4.07 mm and 4.10 mm for sunk riveting.So the diameters of 4.07 mm to 4.10 mm are the suitable value of 5/32 inch rivet,and fatigue property of riveting can be improved by choosing the right hole diameter.
