The rhyrrfing examples of ＂Ji Yun＂（《集韵》） elaborates the principle on collecting words, phonetic notation and definition, it is of great significance for us to correctly understand ＂Ji Yun＂（《集韵》）. The paper selected five aspects, such as the editor, relationship with ＂Shuowen Jiezi＂ （《说文解字》）, widely cited the phonetic notations before it, determined the norm for the Su Words and change ＂Lei Ge＂（类隔） for ＂Yin He＂ （音和）, and clarificated them. We hope the paper will be of some help to the correct interpretation of ＂Ji Yun＂（《集韵》）.
