Four typical unsaturated chiral amide monomers were synthesized by condensation of S- ( + ) -1-methylcyclohexylethylamine [ or S-( - ) -1-methylphenylethylamine ] with methacryloyl chloride and lO-undecenoyl chloride, respectively. The structures were characterized by NMR, IR and elemental analysis.
