A typical driving and controlling circuit for ultrasonic motor has been established in this paper. Based on the ring-type traveling-wave ultrasonic motor with the diameter of the stator 60mm, three circuits of the oscillator, the phase shifter and the energy amplification were respectively designed to realize positive and reversible revolution, frequency modulation and so on. The driving and controlling circuit is easy to make, operate and maintain and can be widely used in driving the two-phase RTWUSM.
