英文摘要：

In this study, we explored the role of ferulic acid on prion replication by established scrapie-infected mouse neuroblastoma cells （ScN2a）. Western blot analysis of PK-digested PrP（Sc） revealed the role of ferulic acid on prion replica- tion. The results showed that 0.5, 1 and 5 g/mL of ferulic acid could significantly inhibit PrPSc formation （P〈0.01）. Ferulie acid, a Chinese medicine monomer, could inhibit PrPSc replication. We conclude that ferulic acid may play a role in the treat- ment of prion diseases, which provides a new idea for the treatment of prion in the future.
