The metric of physical capacity on object is the important mean to obtain related information on ob-ject.It is the basis and source of mapping.The metric model of physical capacity of object based on compara-tive law is constituted by metric target ai,metric datum i0,metric unit Bi and metric result Qi.The physical property i∈ai existed in metric datum i0 for an object,the distance function d (i,i0 )from i to i0 included the metrical unit Bi,namely,the metric result Qi.The application of metric in surveying and mapping such as rectangular coordinate,height,bathymetric,the time coordinate of object (life-span),quality,temperature, satellite laser ranging,etc al.explains the practical value and scientific interpretation function for metric model of physical capacity for object.
