This study examined the effect of formal work-family support( instrumental support) and informal support (career consequence and supervisory support) to some employee outcomes, such as work-family conflict, turnover intention and job satisfaction. Data were obtained from a sample of 202 full-time employees from a variety of different organizations in different industries. The regression analysis results showed that instrumental support was positively related to job satisfaction, career consequence was positively related to work-family conflict and negatively related to job satisfaction, supervisory support was negatively related to intention to leave.
