Wuhan is an important hub in Chinese railway net- work. With the development of high-speed rail, Wuhan has the opportunity to quickly enhance its functionality. To achieve this goal, Wuhan must understand itself as ＂the hub city＂ of responsi- bility. In action, first, city managers must have ＂Big Traffic＂ way of thinking; second, the city should accelerate the construction of intelligent transportation systems; third, the city needs to build noble traffic culture.
