From the ecological perspective,the paper analyzed the ecological system for college English teaching and discussed the principles needed to follow in order to achieve the goal of ecological college English teaching. The principles included sustainable developing principle and integrity,openness and dynamic balance principles in an ecological system. Under the guidance of these principles,this paper referred to relevant theories and viewpoints of Ecology,and explored possible ways and modes in optimizing college English teaching,attempting to study and promote college English teaching from an interdisciplinary perspective.
