Because of the lack of the historical data, there are enormous uncertainty and complexity in the transmittance of Chinese tradition study of ＂Shi＂ （The Book of Poem） from pre - Qin to Han Dynasty.Aeeording to the history of the com- prehension to the Book of Poetry, Mencius, as the representative of intelligentsia who advocated Confucianism, had important influence to Qishi＇s comprehension to the Book of Poetry ： l. Mencins＇ comprehension to the Book of Poetry had influenced Qishi＇s Comprehension to the Book of Poetry;2. The Qixue which originated from Meneins had influenced Qishi＇s compre- hension to the Book of Poetry. Under these influences, Qishi gradually formed a system, which consists ＂the Yin - yang Wu - xing＂ as the form, ＂the sublime words with deep meaning＂ as the method and ＂understanding the literature to the practice＂ as the goal.
