We analyze the current teaching situation and difficulties in linear algebra course, and carry out the reforms on teaching contents and application cases in information majors. Our innovation put emphasis on practical applications to information majors. By stressing geometric visual interpretation of concepts and programming training with MATLAB, we aim to culture the students＇ ability of using linear algebra and enhance the teaching effect concurrently.
