The representative copper recovery technologies are reviewed. Based on the phase composition of copper slags, the dilution mechanism of copper slags pyrometallurgical dilution, hydrometallurgical extraction and mineral separating method is analyzed, and the dilution effect of these methods is discussed. According to the advantage of the chlorination process treatment with complex material, the research idea of copper slags chlorination-flue gas collection for realizing the high effective extraction of copper from copper slags is put forward
