Coal gangue is the largest solid waste in the coal industry,, has the "two-side characters" in environment and economy. It is waste when abandoned and wealth while utilized. This article introduces 5 ways of the gangue regenerative utilization: include recycling coal resources in gangue, generating electricity by using gangue, producing the gangue brick, preparation the gangue cement, distilling aluminates and so on. They have many advantages, such as higher economic efficiency, lower difficulty in techniques and simple technologies; they also have prevalent applicability and promoted value in regeneration and utilization of gangue resources in China.
