Green chemistry is also called environment-friendly chemistry, environment-benign chemistry and clean chemistry, It is a subject that uses a series of principle and theory to reduce or eliminate the production and use of toxic substance in the coUrse of the design, manufacture and use of chemical product. This paper review the development of green chemistry chiefly in green solvent, green catalyst, renewable resources and the alteration of feedstocks used in the synthesis.
