From the perspective of postcolonial identity,this paper studies V.S.Naipaul＇s deconstruction and reconstruction and relocation of his hybrid identity which was lost in the postcolonial world in The Enigma of Arrival.After a series of rips and pains,Naipaul finally successfully locates his identity in the hybrid culture.This location is a comprise as well as the only way out of the identity crisis to get acknowledged.
